Privacy policy

Elsewise is in pilot. For now, the only personal information we collect is what you give us when you ask for pilot access.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Who you are, if you choose it: facing a decision, a coach or mentor, or a study-abroad counsellor.
- Which form you used and when you signed up.
- Anything you write to us if you reply to an email.
This website doesn’t ask what you’re deciding, and it doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies.
To stop abuse, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address for up to a day.
How we use it
- To confirm your signup and tell you when your pilot spot is ready.
- To reply if you write to us.
- To understand who the pilot is useful for, using the role you chose.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use two service providers, who process this information only to run the service:
- Supabase stores signups, on servers in Mumbai, India.
- Resend sends our email, and may process your address outside India.
How long we keep it
We keep your signup until the pilot ends or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email hello@elsewise.quest or reply to any email from us, and we’ll act on it.
Changes
When Elsewise opens to pilot users it will handle more than an email address, including the decisions people bring to it. We’ll update this policy before that happens, and tell you by email.
